Begin your trek with a gradual ascent of around 500 feet. The trail then levels out, weaving through majestic pine forests and running parallel to the rushing Lidder River. After approximately 3-4 hours, arrive at Lidderwatt (3,000 m), a tranquil meadow surrounded by towering hills with rivers on both sides. The campsite lies in a natural depression, offering a peaceful resting point. Enjoy the serene surroundings or hike a nearby ridge for panoramic views. Overnight stay at Lidderwatt in tents.

Today is the highlight of your trek. Start early and trek through pine forest toward Satlanjan, where you’ll cross multiple streams via wooden footbridges. As the landscape opens, you’ll catch your first glimpse of the stunning Kolahoi Peak (5,425 m). Continue along rocky terrain and boulder fields to reach the snout of Kolahoi Glacier (3,500 m)—a dramatic view of the towering peak known as Kashmir’s own Matterhorn. After enjoying the breathtaking scenery and lunch at the glacier base, retrace your steps back to Lidderwatt. Overnight stay in tents at Lidderwatt.

After breakfast, descend through the same forested trail back to Aru and drive to Pahalgam. From there, continue onward to Srinagar, concluding your adventure. Tour ends with cherished memories of the Kolahoi Glacier Trek.
