Day 01
Arrival in Leh
Arrive at Leh Airport (3,500 meters above sea level). Meet our representative and transfer to your hotel.
Rest and acclimatize to the altitude.
Later in the afternoon, explore:
Leh Bazaar – a lively market perfect for handicrafts and souvenirs
Leh Palace – 17th-century architecture with panoramic valley views
Shanti Stupa – a hilltop white dome offering spiritual serenity
Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 02
Leh – Lamayuru – Ule (160 km)
After breakfast, begin your scenic drive towards Lamayuru, one of Ladakh’s oldest monasteries set amidst surreal moonlike landscapes.
Enroute visit:
Likir Monastery – home to a striking golden Buddha
Continue to Ule or Alchi for an overnight stay in a peaceful camp or hotel.

Day 03
Alchi – Leh (70 km)
After breakfast, return to Leh. Enroute, explore:
Alchi Monastery – renowned for ancient murals and Indo-Tibetan art
Basgo Palace – a historic fortress and monastery
Hall of Fame – a museum honoring Indian soldiers and Ladakhi culture
Arrive in Leh and relax for the rest of the day.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 04
Leh – Nubra Valley (120 km)
After breakfast, drive to Nubra Valley via the iconic Khardungla Pass (18,380 ft) – the highest motorable road in the world.
Arrive in Deskit by afternoon. Explore:
Deskit & Hunder Villages – surrounded by cold desert and dramatic mountains
Camel Safari – ride a double-humped Bactrian camel over the sand dunes
Overnight stay at a hotel or camp in Nubra Valley.

Day 05
Nubra Valley – Leh
After breakfast, visit the serene Deskit Monastery with a giant Maitreya Buddha statue overlooking the valley.
Return to Leh via Khardungla Pass.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Day 06
Leh – Pangong Lake (160 km)
After an early breakfast, depart for Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) via Changla Pass (17,350 ft) – the third highest motorable road in the world.
Enjoy the breathtaking beauty of Pangong Tso, a glacial saltwater lake that changes color throughout the day.
Overnight stay at a lakeside camp.

Day 07
Pangong Lake – Leh (Return with Sightseeing)
Drive back to Leh, enroute visit:
Hemis Monastery – Ladakh’s wealthiest and largest monastic institution
Thiksey Monastery – known for its resemblance to Tibet’s Potala Palace
Shey Palace – the former summer capital of Ladakh with giant Buddha statue
Overnight stay at the hotel in Leh.

Departure from Leh
After breakfast, transfer to Leh Airport for your onward journey with cherished memories of the Silk Route and the magic of Ladakh.
